Strictly Beds Celeste Double Loft Bunkbed Review

Strictly Beds Celeste Double Loft Bunkbed Review
Written by Alyssia Walmsley

The Strictly Beds Celeste Double Loft bunkbed is ideal for those who, like me, have limited storage space and want to make the most out of what little they have. Sturdily built, this bunkbed is as well suited to adults as it is to kids.

Key Features

-Strong Support: The Celeste Double Loft bunkbed can hold two adults of 17 stone each. This is really impressive for a loft bed that is usually designed only for kids. I found the bunkbed to be sturdy and didn’t move at all once the brackets were fixed in place.

-Movable Ladder: Conveniently, the ladder can be placed either on the left or right of the bed so you can adjust it to suit your room layout. This was essential for me as many loftbeds I had ladders that had to be placed on the left when I needed it on the right so it wouldn’t interfere with a doorway.

-Double Bed: Unlike, the standard cabin bed that is standard for bunkbeds, the Celeste Double Loft bed is ideal for two adults or just one who loves lots of leg room! It’s also a great investment for kids because, while they may be happy with a cabin bed while young, it’s something they’ll likely grow out of as they get older. With a double bed, you won’t have to worry about that.

-Sustainably-Sourced Wood: The beautiful pine timber on the bunkbeds is sourced from sustainable forests. This is really important to me as I care a lot about the environment and deforestation is a huge issue. I would hate having to sleep on a bed I knew had contributed to the problem, so I loved that I didn’t need to worry about that.

Drawbacks

I didn’t find any drawbacks to this bunkbed; it suited all of my needs perfectly. The only thing that may pose a slight challenge is that it must be assembled yourself at home so that might seem a little daunting. However, this is completely expected, and I found the Celeste Double Loft bunkbed to be quite easy to put together. Even if you’re a complete amateur, you should have no trouble. I found it very straightforward and assembling the bed myself meant I could choose where to put the ladder, so it ended up being an advantage for me.

Final Thoughts

I loved this bunkbed. I recently moved to a new apartment that has very limited storage space, so I hated the idea of a bed taking up so much room when I already had so little. This solved all my problems. I managed to fit a wardrobe and dresser under the bed, which I would never have been able to fit in if I had gone for a traditional bed. If you’ve owned loft beds before, you’ll already be familiar with the advantages and will love this one from Strictly Beds, and if you’re new to loft beds, I suggest giving them a try, you’ll love how much room you’ll save! I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a good, sturdy loft bed.
